Olej truflowy

🌱 Vegetarian 🌿 Vegan

Description

Truffle oil is an aromatic oil with an intense, earthy, and slightly nutty aroma reminiscent of fresh truffles; it resembles a clear base oil (usually olive oil or sunflower oil) with darker reflections and rarely contains pieces of truffle. Nutritionally, it is a typical oil – caloric and rich in fats, with more beneficial properties when the base is olive oil, providing monounsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E; when used in moderation, it aids in the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. Truffle oil is mainly used as a finishing touch for dishes: it adds depth to risottos, pasta, mashed potatoes, eggs, salads, and grilled vegetables or meats. It is best used cold or just before serving to preserve its aroma. Store in a dark, cool place, tightly sealed; after opening, use within a few months, avoiding overheating, which weakens the scent.
