Lychee juice
Description
Lychee juice has an intensely sweet-floral, slightly rosy aroma and a delicately exotic taste; its color ranges from transparent-white to light pink, often slightly cloudy in freshly pressed versions. It contains natural sugars, vitamin C, small amounts of B vitamins, potassium, and antioxidants, making it a refreshing and hydrating drink that supports immunity and recovery; however, it is advisable to consume it in moderation due to its sugar content. In the kitchen, lychee juice pairs perfectly with cocktails (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), desserts, sorbets, glazes for poultry or seafood, as well as dressings and Asian sauces, and it combines well with citrus fruits, ginger, and coconut milk. Store fresh juice in the refrigerator and use it within 2–3 days; keep canned or pasteurized versions in a cool, dry place, and after opening, store in the refrigerator and consume within 5–7 days or freeze in portions.
