Time for magic, which means blending! Pour the ingredients into the blender jar in the right order to make it easier for the device. Start with the liquids: pour in the white rum, freshly squeezed lime juice, and agave syrup. Next, add the basil leaves, and finally, add the frozen raspberries and ice cubes.
Close the blender tightly and start blending. First, use the 'pulse' function a few times to roughly crush the ice and fruit. Then, turn the blender to the highest speed and blend for about 30-60 seconds until you achieve a perfectly smooth, thick, and uniform mixture with a sorbet-like consistency (known as slushy).
