Milk (3.2%)
Description
Milk 3.2% is classic, creamy cow's milk with a white, slightly opalescent color and a delicate, somewhat sweet taste with a milky aroma; the consistency is smooth and full, providing a pleasant sensation in the mouth. In 100 ml, it provides about 64 kcal, approximately 3.2 g of fat, 3.3 g of protein, and 4.8 g of carbohydrates (lactose), as well as significant amounts of calcium (~120 mg), phosphorus, B vitamins, vitamin A, and often vitamin D when the product is fortified. Regular consumption supports bone health, muscle recovery, and a feeling of fullness, but individuals with lactose intolerance or restrictions on saturated fats should moderate their intake. In the kitchen, milk 3.2% is versatile: it pairs well with coffee, cereals, sauces, cream soups, puddings, cake creams, and baked goods, adding smoothness and flavor. Store in the refrigerator at 0–4°C, in the original packaging or tightly sealed after opening; it is best to use within 3–5 days after opening. Avoid sudden temperature changes, check the smell and expiration date; freezing is possible, but it may change the texture after thawing.
