Płatki chilli
Description
Chili flakes are dried, small flakes of hot pepper with an intense red, sometimes dark red color and a distinctly spicy, fruity-smoky aroma. They provide heat in flavor thanks to capsaicin, which adds warmth without altering the dish's structure; their texture is crunchy, and the seeds add an extra hint of spiciness. Nutritionally, they are low in calories, contain vitamin C, carotenoids, and antioxidants, and capsaicin may support metabolism, have anti-inflammatory effects, and improve circulation, though they should be used in moderation. Chili flakes are great for pizza, pasta, sauces, marinades, meat and vegetable dishes, as well as soups and dressings, where they add aroma and gradual spiciness. They should be stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry, and dark place away from moisture and light, which will prolong their aroma and shelf life.
