Fresh mint (sprigs for decoration)

🌱 Vegetarian 🌿 Vegan

Description

Fresh mint in the form of green sprigs for decoration has an intense, refreshing flavor with a menthol coolness and shiny, serrated leaves of a fresh green color that add aesthetics and aroma to dishes. As an addition, it pairs excellently with cocktails (e.g., mojito), drinks and teas, fruit salads, desserts, light yogurt sauces, seafood, lamb, as well as Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. Mint contains small amounts of vitamins (A, C) and phenolic compounds and menthol with anti-inflammatory and digestive-supporting properties, and it also freshens breath. To preserve the aroma and freshness, store the sprigs wrapped in a slightly damp paper towel in the refrigerator or placed in a glass of water and covered with plastic wrap; avoid crushing the leaves, and longer storage can be ensured by freezing in ice cubes with water or chopping and freezing.
