Quinoa

🌱 Vegetarian 🌿 Vegan

Description

Quinoa is small, round grains that come in white, red, and black colors, fluffy when cooked with a slightly nutty, mildly earthy flavor and a subtle, pleasant crunch. It is an excellent alternative to grains, often described as a neutral and versatile culinary base. Nutritionally, quinoa is exceptionally valuable — rich in complete protein containing all essential amino acids, fiber, magnesium, iron, B vitamins, and antioxidants, and naturally gluten-free. Regular consumption supports muscle recovery, satiety, blood sugar stabilization, and heart health. In the kitchen, it works well as an addition to salads, a base ingredient for pilafs, soups, vegetable patties, desserts, or sweet breakfasts. Dry grains should be stored in a sealed, dry, and cool place away from light; cooked quinoa can be kept in the refrigerator for 3–4 days or frozen for 1–2 months.
