Description
Sunflower oil for frying is a light, golden oil with a very mild, neutral flavor and a light consistency that does not overpower the dish. Thanks to its high smoke point (especially in the refined version), it is great for deep and shallow frying, baking, and quickly sautéing vegetables, meats, and breaded dishes. Nutritionally, it is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, especially polyunsaturated omega-6 fatty acids (linoleic acid), contains vitamin E, and has a low content of saturated fats, which helps reduce saturated fats in the diet. However, moderate use is recommended due to the omega-6/omega-3 balance and to avoid repeated overheating. Store in a tightly closed bottle, in a cool, dark place, away from heat sources; after opening, use within a few months and avoid prolonged exposure to light.
