White chocolate chips
Description
White chocolate chips are delicate, creamy-white flakes with a sweet, milky-vanilla flavor and a smooth, slightly shiny surface. They give desserts an elegant appearance and a subtle, sweet touch without the bitterness of cocoa, perfectly complementing darker cakes and creams visually. Nutritionally, the chips are a source of energy — they mainly contain sugars and fats (including saturated fats) as well as dairy components that provide small amounts of calcium and vitamin A; since they do not contain cocoa solids, they do not provide flavonoids. They are used for decorating cakes, muffins, ice creams, mousses, and hot drinks, as well as for quick melting as a topping or addition to cookies. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from odors and direct light; in warmer conditions, keep in the refrigerator packaged and warm to room temperature before use to avoid condensation.
