Pour the measured amount of oats, chia seeds, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and a pinch of black pepper into the jar. Close the jar and shake it vigorously for a few seconds to ensure all the dry ingredients are well combined. If you are using a bowl, mix them thoroughly with a dry spoon.

Now for the most important moment: shake the jar vigorously for about 30-45 seconds until all the ingredients are perfectly combined and the liquid takes on a uniform, golden color. Check if there are any dry ingredients left at the bottom - if so, shake a little longer. If you are using a bowl, stir vigorously with a spoon for a minute.

Place the oatmeal in the refrigerator overnight. After mixing, put the sealed jar in the fridge for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight (about 8 hours). During this time, the oats will soften, and the chia seeds will swell, creating a thick, creamy, pudding-like consistency.

Do not shorten the cooling time. It is crucial for the oatmeal to achieve the right consistency and flavor. This step is what makes your breakfast ready in the morning without any effort.

Add toppings and serve. In the morning, take the jar out of the fridge. Open it and stir the contents with a spoon. Check the consistency - if the oatmeal is too thick for you, add 1-2 tablespoons of milk and stir again. Top with your favorite toppings. If you are using optional ingredients, dice the mango and place it on the oatmeal, then sprinkle with almond flakes. Eat straight from the jar or transfer to a bowl.
