Parsley leaves
Description
Parsley is a light green herb with a mildly spicy, slightly bitter taste and an intense aroma, featuring small feathery leaves that add freshness to dishes. It is rich in vitamins A, C, and K, folic acid, minerals such as iron and potassium, and antioxidants, which support immunity, bone health, circulation, and digestion, and have anti-inflammatory effects. In the kitchen, it works well as a versatile addition to soups, sauces, salads, potatoes, fish, and meats, as well as for preparing pesto or fresh dressings, enhancing flavor and improving the aesthetic qualities of dishes. To maintain freshness, it is best to store parsley in the refrigerator wrapped in a damp cloth or in a glass of water, loosely covered with plastic wrap, and any excess can be chopped and frozen in oil.
