Description

Red beans have oval, shiny seeds in an intense red color and a slightly nutty, mildly sweet flavor with a creamy texture when cooked. Store dry beans in an airtight container in a cool, dry, and dark place; keep canned beans in the pantry, and after opening, store in the refrigerator in a closed container for up to 3–4 days. Cooked beans can be frozen for about 3 months.
